Art of Vision is fun, artful lifestyle photography which pushes the boundries of of traditional portraiture.
My name is Richard Israel and have worked for nearly 20 years as a fashion and beauty photographer in my native London and here in the U.S. When my wife Beth and I had children we found that we could not get photographs of the kids that excited us and capture the essence of their little personalites, after shooting portraits for my wedding clients when they had children I discovered and developed a passion for lifestyle portraiture and so Art of Vision was born.
Our sessions take place in your home, on location or at our studio, We prefer to shoot in and around our clients homes as people and especially children are so much more relaxed in their own enviroment and as the father of three small girls I know how wonderful it is not to have to load up the family and drive across town.
The shoot usually takes 1 to 2 hours. Keeping children busy during a shoot can really help produce natural moments and it is ok if they don't smile for all the shots. Normal routines can make great photographs, so I am more then happy to slip into being part of your families day to day activities. Prepare several different oufits for the kids and we can choose on your shoot day.
For teens and adults, wear what makes you feel comfortable, we will be happy to discuss specifics about clothing, hair and make up. It is your time to have fun.
